Shield of the Lion, looks epsecially good with the ancient armour.

No offense to anyone who actually likes it, but I find the tormented shield to be extremely boring. I can't even count the amount of people I see using one every day in the FoW. Do people actually use the thing because they like it, or is it purely for prestige?

Exalted Aegis. Very nice-looking shield, I just wish it wasn't zero thickness, and that it had texture on the back side too.

It depends on what armor I'm using. For example if I'm using my Plate mail set I bust out the Summit Warlord Shield(The warlord shield is one of the more badass skins in the game), but it kinda looks weird when I put on the Vabbia armor, then I swap to the Sun and Moon Shield(less bad ass, but got dang pretty and goes better with the 'ornateness' of the vabbi armor). My Elite Gladiator armor looks good holding almost anything, but especially well with smaller buckler types like the diamond aegis.

As good as a shield looks it is an accessory and no matter how prestigious the skin it can clash with your other gear. I remember a guy, had elite luxon armor dyed green and a green mursaat shield, was one of the most badass things I've seen, all chittiny lookin. One of these days I'm going to have to make a "tree" warrior, get one of the freaky looking warrior armors an oak aegis and a bramble or brair blade...
